S.A.C.N.A.S is the Society of Advancing Chicanos & Native Americans in Science. The mother organization is dedicated to fostering the success of underrepresented minorities in the fields of STEM. Although the mother organization primarily serves underrepresented minorities, 115 student chapters nationwide do not prevent other ethnic groups from participating within chapter activities. This includes events, workshops, outreach programs, and seminars. In this same spirit, the Los Angeles City College SACNAS Chapter aims to inclusively expand the skillset of all students therefore, producing tomorrow’s leaders in science.  For more information, please go to
