How are Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) financial aid refunds delivered to students?

Los Angeles City College has partnered with BankMobile to deliver your funds. As you become an enrolled student in any of the colleges of the Los Angeles Community College District, you receive an email or a letter from BankMobile. For more information about BankMobile, visit this link:

How do I choose my refund option?

BankMobile will send an email or a letter to all LACCD enrolled students to the LACCD Student email. Follow the instructions on the email or letter to select your refund preference. For more information about BankMobile, visit this link:

What exactly is a BankMobile Vibe account?

The BankMobile Vibe checking account is a digital-only, FDIC insured checking account with access to 55,000 fee-free Allpoint® ATMs (ATM availability varies by location), money management tools and a one-of-a-kind recognition program.

Is the myLACCDcard a Credit Card?

The myLACCDcard is not a credit card. However, you can use it for purchases at all participating merchants that accept Debit MasterCard, get cash at ATMs, pay bills, and more.

How will I know when my financial aid disbursement has been deposited to myLACCDcard?

BankMobile will send a message to the students' primary email address notifying them that a refund has been disbursed. Students can also be notified by thext message if they opt in to mobile alerts.

What if I don’t want to open a “BankMobile Vibe” account? Can I have my financial aid deposited to another bank account?

Yes, you may have your financial aid disbursement deposited to the bank of your choice. Follow the instructions on the email or letter to select your refund preference. For more information about BankMobile, visit this link:

What is the maximum amount of money that can be withdrawn from an ATM in one day?

$500 (pin-based total)

What is the maximum daily spending limit for the myLACCDcard?

$2,500. The student may contact Higher One’s customer service to request an increase to this amount.

How do I log in to view my BankMobile Vibe account?

Go to the BankMobile Vibe website. The login is located at the top of the page. Enter your email address and password. The password is the one you created upon selection of your refund preference.
