Use our Cranium Cafe platform to chat with the financial aid experts, or email us from your your LACCD email account and provide your student ID number for a more personalized reply. Please note that only general questions will be answered from emails received from any other email accounts (gmail, yahoo, etc.).
Virtual Financial Aid Student Technology (FAST) Lab
If you need assistance completing your application for financial aid, navigating the Financial Aid Portals, submitting appeals, request a student loan, or any other process related to your financial aid at LACC, please visit our virtual Financial Aid Student Technology Lab (FAST Lab). The virtual lab is available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Customer Service Unit
The role of the customer service unit is to provide excellent customer service to our students via our walk-in service counter, our phone lines, as well as electronically through the financial aid email system and Cranium Cafe chat services.

Processing and Special Programs Unit
The role of the Processing and Special Programs unit manages aspects of financial aid such as reviewing taxes, appeals, and other special circumstances. This unit also processes requests for student loans, Cal Grants, scholarships, Federal Work Study, and other programs.

Accounting Unit
The Accounting Unit provides broad oversight of all federal, state, and institutional awards managed by the office, including management of overpayments, reconciliation of student aid programs, and year-end reporting to all agencies as it relates to financial aid.
Management Unit
The Management Team includes the Financial Aid Director and Supervisors. The Management Team is responsible for the oversight of the daily operations in Financial Aid as well as ensuring that Financial Aid is operating in accordance to the guidelines set forth by the institution, state, and federal policies and regulations.
