What is our purpose?

Upward Bound Logo

Our program is dedicated to improving postsecondary education opportunities to underserved, low-income, first-generation-potential-college-graduates attending impacted Los Angeles Unified high schools. We guide program participants through their high school years, providing academic skills development, information on college admissions and financial aid, career exposure, and first-hand experience of college life. Our objective is to prepare our students for success not only in high school but in a post-secondary educational institution of their choosing.
