Program Mission:
The Student Support Services (SSS) assists low-income, first generation, and/or disabled students by providing opportunities for academic advisement, mentoring, assistance with basic college requirements, and motivating students to complete their postsecondary education.

Program Description:
The Student Support Services (SSS) program provides services that assist students in obtaining an Associate Degree and transfer to four-year institution. Services include tutoring, workshops, cultural activities, computer lab access, calculator loan, university field-trips, grant aid awards, academic and personal counseling and assistance with transfer and financial aid applications.

Program’s Learning Outcomes:
The student will:
  1. At the conclusion of the first term in TRIO/SSS, new students will identify and explain educational pathways: certificate, AA/AS degree and transfer requirements in general and in relationship to their own educational goals.
  2. Demonstrate progress toward degree completion.
  3. Develop academic and personal skills through program resources and activities.
