Center Theatre Group’s fall 2015 internship applications are now available via www.CenterTheatreGroup.org/Internships. Most applications are due on September 12 or 15, but positions may be filled before the deadline. Please share this information with students and educators. We will post on local college’s job boards, time-permitting, but I recommend you send this message directly to students if possible.
I’m also happy to come to your campus to speak about CTG, the internship program, and provide application tips and/or a full cover letter and resume-writing workshop (no cost to you or the students). I’ve found that this increases the number of applications from a campus and the percentage of students selected for our positions.
We are offering ten undergraduate internships and two graduate-level internships; all are paid or for-credit. All require an application, cover letter and resume, and some have additional requirements outlined in the Internship Descriptions. Students are encouraged to read descriptions carefully and utilize our comprehensive FAQ page.
Students are also welcome to contact me to discuss specific positions or with questions. These are highly competitive positions; spending time researching and applying for one specific internship will result in a stronger application than applying for multiple internships without taking the time to address their interest in and qualifications for each position. If some of your students would prefer hard-copy applications, I’m happy to send those as well.
Available positions are as follows. Please note that applicants must visit www.CenterTheatreGroup.org/Internships for full instructions and the application form.
