LACC Art Dept. Plate Auction Friday Dec. 15

48 Plates Designed by Local Artists to be Auctioned
To Support Art Program at LACC

LA City College’s Art Dept. will present its annual Ceramic Plate Art Auction at 7:00 pm on Friday, Dec. 15 in the Da Vinci Art Gallery located at 855 N. Vermont Ave. in Hollywood.  More than 40 local artists of renown have provided hand-painted designs for these plates which were made and fired at LACC’s ceramics facilities.  The plates are on view at the Da Vinci Gallery Dec. 11 through Dec. 15 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Artists represented include such local artists as Laddie John Dill, John Outterbridge, Diane Gamboa, Vagan Demirtchian, Kazuo Ota, Frank Romero, Sang Youg Bang, Yun J. Choi, and Barry Morkowitz as well as LACC Art faculty.  For more information, call (323) 953-4000, ext 2518.
