At its June meeting, The Accrediting Commission for Community and
Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges acted
to place
the institution
on probation. The Commission will require that the College submit
a Follow-up Report by March 2010 and will reassess the College’s
status in June. The accredited status of the institution remains
in effect during this period.
Los Angeles City

address the specifics of the Commission’s recommendations. For our

College. The college will hold an open forum on July 16, 2009 at
12:30pm in the faculty and staff center to inform the campus and
the community on the next steps in addressing the issues
identified by the Commission and to answer any questions about the
process.
