HOST THE FALL 2011 ENTERTAINMENT PANEL

On September 15th, at 7:00 pm in the LACC Camino
Theatre, LACC
will kick off its Fall Entertainment Panel. The panelists will include
Jon Katzman, who is the executive director of the Semester in LA Program for Columbia
College Chicago. Jon is a former development executive at NBC, Warner
Brothers, and New Regency Television. The panel will also feature
Valarie Phillips, head of the film literary department at Paradigm;
Chris Schmidt, senior talent agent at Paradigm; Debra Frank, successful
screenwriter and television series writer; and Joey Travolta, actor,
producer and director.
This panel will be able to
speak to virtually all areas of the business, and we are very excited
to have their participation. Students can learn some great
information about the entertainment business, what Hollywood is looking
for, and hear stories of success! This is the second year LACC
has provided this opportunity to the campus community. You don’t
