LACC Preview Day
August 27: Tours of the
campus, same-day admission, help in selecting classes, and face-to-face time
with faculty and students are just some of the highlights of the August 27th
“Preview Day” at Los Angeles City College, set from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on
the campus at 855 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles. Read more about it in the

Paralegal Program
Orientation September 2:
The
Paralegal Program is
having an orientation for students on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 6:00 -
6:30 pm in Holmes Hall 204. During the orientation, students will learn
about the Paralegal profession and Los Angeles City College’s progress
towards American Bar Association approval.
Welcome Days September 2 - 4: The
Office of Student Life will host Welcome Days September 2nd - 4th, from 7:30
am to 12:00 noon in the Main Quad. We want to take this time to welcome and
assist new and returning students during the first few days of the semester.
Information booths will be at entrance areas around the campus to greet and
answer questions. Free coffee and donuts will also be served at tables
located in the quad.
Transfer Center Events: All
this summer, the
University Transfer Center will offer free
consultations with representatives of four-year colleges and
universities, as well as a program of special events and workshops. Calendar
