LACC is a 2-year public college located in the east corner of Hollywood, just minutes from Hollywood shopping and entertainment, Universal Studios CityWalk and Downtown LA. |
Since 1929, LACC has helped students transfer to competitive universities as juniors, enter high-paying careers and advance on the job. Our alumni are notable educators; civic leaders and politicians; business leaders; Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winners; medical and technology professionals; and front-line staffers. Our math and debate teams are nationally recognized and our basketball program has been rated one of the best in the country. |

The classroom experience at LACC is more intimate than large universities where you can get lost in the crowd. Small class sizes allow for more student/teacher interaction. And, our faculty are interested in your success. They are experienced teaching professionals, many of who started at community colleges before graduating from prestigious universities including UCLA, Berkeley, Stanford, USC, Otis Art Institute, Julliard, Claremont, Cornell, Howard and Yale. |

Housing |
Like most California community colleges, LACC does not offer campus housing. However, we are surrounded by apartment buildings and rooms for rent ranging from economy to a bit more pricey with more amenities. The community does post apartment listings on a campus housing board. Local free papers and online apartment finders are also good resources. |
