LACC Scenes

LACC is a 2-year public college located in the east corner of Hollywood, just minutes from Hollywood shopping and entertainment, Universal Studios CityWalk and Downtown Los Angeles.
Since 1929, LACC has helped students transfer to competitive universities as juniors, enter high-paying careers, and advance on the job.
Our alumni include notable educators; civic leaders and politicians; business leaders; Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy winners; medical and technology professionals; and a Nobel Laureate. Our math and debate teams are nationally recognized and our theater and cinema-television programs are among the best in the country.
The classroom experience at LACC is more intimate than large universities where you can get lost in the crowd. Small class sizes allow for more student/teacher interaction. And, our faculty are interested in your success. They are experienced teaching professionals, many of who started at community colleges before graduating from prestigious universities including UCLA, Berkeley, Stanford, USC, Otis Art Institute, Juilliard, Claremont, Cornell, Howard and Yale.

Tuition & Fees

Because LACC is a public college, we can keep tuition low and quality high.
TUITION:  California Residents, Non-Residents, and International Students
In addition to Tuition, fees include: Enrollment Fee $46 per unit; ASO Fee $7; Student Representation Fee $1; Health Fee $11; Parking Passes (Regular) $20 or (Preferred) $27.
Scholarships, Federal & State Grants and Low Interest Loans are Available. Over 75% of LACC students qualify for fee waivers -- that's $0 tuition!

Like most California community colleges, LACC does not offer campus housing. However, we are surrounded by apartment buildings and rooms for rent ranging from economy to a bit more pricey with more amenities. The community does post apartment listings on a campus housing board. Local free papers and online apartment finders are also good resources.

Easy Access
LACC is close to the 101 Freeway and is both an MTA and Metro stop. SEE MAP
