James Coburn

August 31, 1928 - November 18, 2002

James Coburn grew up in Compton, California and majored in acting at Los Angeles City College in the mid 1940's. He also attended USC and studied with Stella Adler in New York. His film career spanned more than 40 years, with "The Man From Elysian Fields" currently in theatres and "American Gun" about to be released.

His film career included more than 100 pictures, including; The Magnificent Seven, Major Dundee, Our Man Flint, In Like Flint, Young Guns II, Affliction, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, and The Iron Cross.
