Professional Actor Training Program

The Professional Actor Training Program provides intensive training in all skills and techniques an actor needs. The Theatre Academy Actor Training Program in Hollywood requires an extraordinary dedication and respect for the art and craft of acting.This intense curriculum demands self-discipline, organization and a determination to challenge one's own limits. THE ACADEMY AND BEYOND

Acting students completing the training program are prepared to enter the acting field a step above many professional actors in the industry today. Audition and cold reading techniques,  resume preparation and career marketing are only a few of the skills provided that will better equip the Academy graduate to work in the highly competitive fields of theatre, film, and television.

Graduates are also encouraged to pursue further training at a four-year university or college where, with additional training, they may be eligible for a Bachelors or Master's Degree in Theatre.

Why should I go to the Theatre Academy instead of another program?

• COST - If you intend to transfer to a university, you can complete all your undergraduate general education requirements at a MUCH lower cost per unit WHILE starting your professional training.

• ATTENTION - Academy classes are restricted to those who have auditioned, been accepted, and made a commitment to the program. Departmental classes may fulfill requirements, but will also include those students who have no background. This may be the only theatre class they ever take.

• CHALLENGE - This is a boot camp for theatre professionals. You will be stretched and stressed and challenged far beyond what you ever thought yourself capable.

• LOCATION - The Hollywood sign is right out the back door. The resources and possibilities available in the theatre, film, television and entertainment venues just locally are almost endless.
