Christine Tinberg completed her B.S. degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University, a M.S. degree in Exercise Science from Arizona State University, and M.S. degree in Ministry from Pepperdine University.  She is particularly interested in children’s physical education and has worked for the Los Angeles County Office of Education training K-12 physical educators on fitness testing.  She loves to mountain bike and is trying to learn surfing! 
Dan Glickman
Dan Glickman received B.A. and M.A. in Physical Education from San Francisco State University. He also teaches yoga, flamenco dance, and racquet sports.  He enjoys international travel, hiking, and reading.  He speaks Spanish and is learning to speak Finnish.
Waldemar hermina
Waldemar Hermina received his B.A. Physical Education from the University of Puerto Rico.  He has a M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Oregon State University.  While at Oregon, he also studied human movement for people with disabilities.  For 7 years, he taught adaptive physical education for the Los Angles Unified School District.  For exercise, he runs marathons, and cycles in the mountains, training for road biking competitions.
Nancy Pierce
Nancy Pierce earned her B.S. degree in Health Education with a minor in Psychology and her M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from Cal State Northridge.  At LACC, she teaches health and physical education classes, with specialties in volleyball, hiking, running, and equestrian.  She is an environmentalist, president of a consulting business, a motivational speaker, and a L.A. Marathon finisher.
Rodney King
Dr. Rodney King received his B.S. and M.S. in Physical Education.  His doctorate is in Ministry/Theology.  He has taught physical education, health, weight training, body conditioning, and fitness classes.  He has also coached football, baseball, basketball, and track teams for 30 years.  He enjoys bodybuilding, racquetball, dancing, traveling, videotaping, and having fun.
Richard Li
Richard Li earned a M.S. in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from California State University – Fullerton, and a M.S. in Exercise Science from Beijing University, Beijing, China.  He is a Certified Health/Fitness Instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine.  He has experience in personal training, athletic training, senior fitness, and rehab exercises for persons with chronic diseases and disabilities.  He enjoys playing volleyball, yoga, and traveling.
Bill Becktel
Bill Becktel has completed over 60 units of graduate courses in Education, Health Science, Fitness, Nutrition, Exercise Science and Athletic Development. He is currently in the process of preparing for Certification as a NSCA Certified National Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach.  He enjoys attending clinics, seminars, Functional Training, Athletic Performance Summits and Conferences, to enhance his knowledge and teaching skills.
La Nae Supall
La Nae Supall is our Fitness Center Assistant.  Shebegan working at City College in 2001.  Previously, she worked as a Massage Therapist and a Personal Trainer for 24 Hour Fitness.  Her favorite sport is basketball, her favorite color is yellow, and her favorite car is a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon – the one with a big engine.  In her free time, she enjoys being around family, shopping, going to a good sports bar and watching her favorite teams play
