Welcome to the website for Dance at LACC. We offer courses in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Choreography, Social, Tap, and Flamenco. Each course is one unit and does fulfill the PE requirement for graduation. We also offer a 3 unit History and Appreciation of Dance course and a one unit Conditioning for Dance class. The Conditioning for Dance course also fulfill the PE requirement. We offer a Skills Certificate in Dance; and in conjunction with the other performing disciplines, a Performing and Visual Arts Degree. To find out more about these click here

At the end of each Spring and Fall semester select pieces from the dance classes perform in two dance performances, a less informal Dance Demonstration held  in the Women's Gym, and a Dance Concert held in the Camino Theatre. To find out more information please click here.
