Women are involved in over 80% of all car related purchases yet many feel alienated or clueless when purchasing or repairing a vehicle. In this “hands-on” workshop students will quickly learn how to check fluids, check tires, understand brake and other common repairs. Discussion will focus on how to avoid the 4 most common repair “scams” used to defraud the motorist. Wear old clothes and solid shoes! Class held off campus. In-class fee of $16.50 for a textbook. Bring water & hat.

An introduction to make-up application for the aspiring professional or just for fun! Among the topics to be presented: color analysis and foundations, skin types/skin shades, framing the face, lips and how to purchase beauty supplies for a fraction of retail prices.

WILLS AND LIVING TRUSTS
Stay out of the court system and protect yourself and your family from the horrors of probate and sky-high estate taxes. Learn about the use and interaction of essential estate planning documents, such as an advanced health care directive, durable powers of attorney, personal will and a revocable living trust. The class will also include issues regarding incapacity as well as providing a plan for passing family assets while avoiding probate and excessive estate taxes. Also covered will be property law, taking title to real estate, conservatorships, the marital deduction and the federal unified tax credit. Material fee of $5 payable in class.
