C-BEST PREPARATION
(Basic Education Skills Test)

C-BEST verification qualifies you to receive an emergency teaching credential, work as a substitute teacher, or re-enter the school system if you are a teacher who has been inactive (it’s a lifetime license) and a state requirement for newly credentialed teachers. G.E.D. PREPARATION WORKSHOP
This class is designed to prepare students for the five tests incorporated in the General Education Development (G.E.D.) examination. Each of the five subject areas (Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Writing) will be reviewed and presented. Emphasis will be placed on the content and nature of the exam. The student will be able to develop and augment the skills necessary to complete all requirements for the G.E.D. exam and will demonstrate his/her ability by passing a series of practice exams with a score of 80% or higher. Cost of GED book is $20 payable to instructor in class.
