Mission
This program is designed to help men develop scholastic skills, self-discipline, accountability, self-sufficiency, and the ability to be fully engaged in their personal growth to facilitate success at the highest academic levels.
Goal
Each male participant will earn an Associate’s degree or certificate, and/or transfer to a four-year institution in a timely manner.
Objectives
The Barbershop will provide a team-driven learning platform that enables male participants to learn, think, and express themselves freely in order to improve their life skills and navigate important life decisions.

"The Salon"
Mission
This program is designed to assist women of CalWORKs in successfully reaching their personal, emotional, educational and career goals.
Goal
Each woman participant will earn an Associate’s degree or certificate, and/or transfer to a four-year institution in a timely manner and gain skills to become self-sufficient.
Objectives
The Salon empowers women to embrace their dreams, achieve their academic and career goals and succeed in their long-term economic goals.
