City Madness

What is City Madness?

City Madness is a prescriptive approach to student success that guarantees new incoming students will complete the registration process when they come on their own.

Who may participate?

High school students.

City Pathway

What is City Pathway?
  • City Pathway is an in-depth approach to student success that guarantees completion of the registration process.
  • Students complete an assessment, online orientation, and an ED plan/counseling session.
  • Students commit to enrolling in three classes, including Math, English, and a personal development course.
  • Students receive PRIORITY REGISTRATION.
Who can participate in City Pathway?

The first target group is new incoming students and returning students with fewer than 10 units. These students will primarily be recruited from local high schools and will generally come to LACC in the Fall Term following high school graduation.

Summer in the City 

What is Summer in the City?
  • Summer in the City is an opportunity to jump-start your college career by taking Math and English courses during the summer for FREE.
  • You do not have to pay an enrollment fee and you get FREE books if you take a Math and/or English course.
Who can participate in Summer in the City?

High school students and seniors graduating this year.
