Mandatory Check-In & Academic Seminar Sessions

All newly arrived international students must attend Check-In and Academic Seminar sessions coordinated by the International Student Program. Immigration regulations require students to register their presence in the U.S. within 30 days before the program start date listed on their immigration document (I-20).

Check-In and Academic Seminar sessions are designed to provide students with important information about immigration and visa regulations, academics, and ISP services. These services also help international students be acquainted with the educational and cultural atmosphere at LACC and in Los Angeles, and provide an opportunity to meet other new international students.

It is mandatory to attend both Check-In & Academic Seminar sessions for ALL newly admitted international students. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your admission to LACC.
