Administration of Justice
The Administration of Justice programs are designed to prepare students to begin careers as:
- Police Officers
- Custodial Officers
- Deputy Sheriffs
- Probation/Parole Officers
- Highway Patrol Officers
- Private Investigators
- Forensic Specialists
- Insurance Investigators
- Police Assistants
- Financial Investigators
- Fingerprint Experts
The programs stress practical application in order to expose students to the fundamental concepts and tasks of law enforcement and ready them for employment. Additionally, students are prepared for the qualification and screening process required to enter law enforcement academies such as the Los Angeles Police Department Academy.
Internship opportunities include the Los Angeles Police Department, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, the District Attorney’s Office, the Coroner’s Office, and the Probation/Parole Offices.
