Lior played high school soccer at Viewpoint High School in Calabasas, playing all four years there. After graduating from Viewpoint, Lior went on to get his Bachelor's in Earth and Space Sciences from the University of Washington.
After getting his Bachelor's Lior returned to Los Angeles and started coaching soccer starting at the Middle School Level and has moved all the way up to the College Level.
In the past couple of years Lior has become a USSF C license coach working on getting his A license. This past year Lior received his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine.
Lior spent three years as an assistant coach in the Women's soccer program over at Santa Monica College, with the last two as the top assistant coach. Santa Monica College had it's most successful period during that time, winning it's first two league titles.
The past two years Lior has been the top assistant coach at Granada Hills Charter High School. In those two years, Granada Hills has won the Division 1 LA City Section CIF finals.
In March 2020 Coach Lipman was named the Head Coach of the Los Angeles City College Women's Soccer Program.
