Free and open to the public!

LACC's Visual & Media Arts Department presents the seventh installment of their Artist Lecture Series!

6:00pm - 7:30pm

Nicole Belle

Nicole Belle received a B.A. in French literature from NYU, a B.F.A. in fine art photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an M.F.A. in visual art at the University of California, Riverside. Her work has been shown both nationally and internationally and is in several private and public collections including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Alexandra Wiesenfeld

Wiesenfeld’s works are an insistent response to the activity of human creatures as they move through the contemporary world. She begins each piece with a monoprint and then builds her surfaces with layer upon layer of story to allow the composition and figuration to occur in such a way that challenges the artist’s own desire for ease of replication, or pull towards a finished surface.

Event location: Chem 03 (Basement Lecture Hall)
