Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Education Workshop

Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 12:30 PM

In this workshop you will learn to recognize the signs of a potentially abusive relationship. You will learn how to recognize the manipulative patterns and techniques the abusers use to keep their partners from leaving the relationship. Techniques usually involve fear, threats, coercion, and debasing (making the person feel worthless and that no one else will want them). You or someone you know may be in a situation like this. Come and learn what you need to know to protect yourself and your family.

The workshop is for one hour and materials will be provided.

Event location: The workshop will be held in the Student Union Building's 2nd Floor Cub Room.
Price: no fee

Hosted by: Health and Wellness Center/ Life Skills Center
