Student Success & Support Program

Assessment Process

You will take a basic skills assessment in reading, writing, language usage, and mathematics to help you select appropriate courses. This is not an entrance exam to the college and you will not be penalized in any way for your score. However, it is a very important step in the enrollment process.

To take the ENL (English as a Native Language) English and Math test, or Math only test, students must go to the Drop-In Center. The first step is to check-in at the Assessment Office.

DROP IN CENTER HOURS for ENL, English and Math, and Math only tests.

Monday: 9am – 7pm
Tuesday: 9am – 7pm
Wednesday: 9am – 7pm
Thursday: 9am – 7pm
Friday: 9am – 2pm

Note: The last test sitting begins at 4pm Monday through Thursday and 12noon on Fridays. You must check-in by 4pm Monday through Thursday and 12noon on Fridays.

Please note that the online system will only allow you to sign up for the ESL (English as a Second Language) Test. You can also sign up for the ESL test at the Assessment Office.

For ESL ONLY, schedule an appointment online
