Password Change/Reset
Network/SharePoint Password
- Your LACC network and SharePoint usernames are one and the same, therefore the password is the same.
- When you change your network password, you are also changing your SharePoint password.
- To change your network password, use the instructions below.
Changing Network Password Using Your LACC Computer
These instructions are for computers using Windows.

- Start and log into your computer as you would normally do.
- Press CTRL+ALT+DEL. The “Windows Security” window will open.
- Click "Change Password". The "Change Password" window will open.
- Type in your current password (old password) and new password in the appropriate fields, and then click "OK".
- Then, click "Cancel" to exit the “Window Security” window.
Changing Your Network Password from Off-Campus
To reset your network password to the default password:
- Call the IT Help Desk at extension 2049, OR
- Send an email request from your faculty/staff email account (@lacitycollege.edu or @laccd.edu) to LACC-EmailSupport@lacitycollege.edu
Voicemail Password
- To change your voicemail password, use the instructions below.
- To reset your voicemail password to your default password, call IT Help Desk at extension 2049.
- Dial ext. 4599 (from off-campus dial 323-953-4599).
- When the greeting is being played, press the star (*) key.
- When prompted for your ID number, enter your voice mail number followed by the pound (#) key.
- When prompted for your password, enter your default password followed by the pound (#) key.
- Press 4 to change your Setup.
- Press 3 to change your Personal settings.
- Select the Change-Your-Password option. Then, follow the instructions.
LACCD Portal Password
- The the LACCD portal username and password are used to access to Personnel Change Request system (PCR), Business Warehouse (BW) and the Employee Self-Service system (ESS).
- To reset or change your password, use the "click here to reset it" link in the Portal Logon Page.
