ConferZoom Training

Faculty can use ConferZoom to create synchronous meetings with your students in Canvas. Use of a web cam is optional. Before you get started, you need to establish an account with ConferZoom.

Brand New to ConferZoom?

Create an account at​

A new ConferZoom account requires a college email address ending in .edu​

Please use the LACCD email account associated with your Canvas account,
( After you've created your account, you should be able to access and setup ConferZoom meetings within Canvas.​​

Already Have a ConferZoom Account but Have Never Used It within Canvas?​

If you had a Zoom account or ConferZoom account in place before you had access to Canvas, you may need to update your email in your Zoom profile in order to integrate with Canvas. This also applies if you had a Zoom account in place prior to the migration to Office 365 last April. Here's what you need to do.​

  1. Log into ConferZoom or Zoom (
  2. Click on the profile icon in the top right corner.​
  3. Then, edit the email to match the LACCD email account associated with your Canvas account:
  4. Once that's done, launch ConferZoom from Canvas again, and you should see the green check mark that confirms your account is active within Canvas.​
