Welcome to Los Angeles City College’s Online Counseling! Although the LACC campus is closed due to the COVID-19 emergency, counseling faculty and staff are able to assist you and provide general information through online chat. Additionally, we are working to implement telephone and video appointments so that we can offer students many of the counseling services that were previously available in-person.

Please allow up to 7 business days to receive a response to your request. If an appointment is required, you will be contacted by a staff member to schedule an appointment. Requests are processed in the order received, however, financial aid deadlines and other time sensitive matters will be considered when processing your request.

 Live-Chat with A Counselor

Live Chat Information

During the week of March 30-April 3, Counselors and Success Coaches (also known as counseling assistants) will be available through Cranium Café Live Chat for general questions and limited educational planning services. Students with coursework completed outside of LACCD should submit an online counseling request and attach copies of transcripts to their request.
