Articulation - n.
The act or the state of being jointed.

Articulation is the process by which community college courses are approved to fulfill requirements at CSU/UC campuses and private universities. Articulation is often specific to the community college, University, and major. We cannot determine that a course will satisfy requirements based on the title alone.

The Articulation Office oversees and maintains the college's repository of equivalent courses and credit by exam. Namely, how courses and exams are comparable to or acceptable in lieu of corresponding LACC courses and are applied towards General Education and major requirements for both graduation and transfer. In accordance with applicable LACCD board rules, administrative regulations, California Educational Codes, Cal State, UC, and private university transfer policies, we provide a scaffold to assist counselors, academic faculty, curriculum and admissions to navigate course credit and its application.

The Articulation Office makes no guarantees, either express or implied, with respect to information available over the Internet from other colleges and is not responsible for any such inaccuracies or misrepresentation of information referenced to LACC courses, prerequisites, programs of study, and graduation requirements.
