Tina Kronis

Tina Kronis most recently directed The Inspector General and co-directed and choreographed Untitled Warhol Project and Within Us for the Academy. She directed Model Behavior, Seagull, and Anton's Uncles (all TMB adaptations), the latter of which was a National Selection from the KC/ACTF and was performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

In addtion, she is the Artistic Director and co-founder of the LA-based interdisciplinary theatre company Theatre Movement Bazaar, a company dedicated to creating original performnce works. TMB's award-winning productions merge dance, theatre, and cinema, heightening physicality and remixing theaatre forms to create provocative storytelling. Ms. Kronis is co-creator, director, and choreographer on all TMB projects.

Her productions tour the US, UK, China, and Russia. Her TMB adaptation of Chekhov's Three Sisters, Track 3, played in Moscow's Chekhov International Theatre Festival and St. Petersburg. For TMB she directed and performed in Subliminal, which premiered at the Getty Villa in Malibu.

Ms. Kronis' work as a performer also includes three shows for the Swiss mask-dance-theatre company Mummenschanz, on Broadway and internationally, as well as co-creating their current show, You and Me. Her most recent work, The Grail Project, inspired by the Arthur legend and grail myth, played at the Edinburgh Festival.
