Morgan Freeman Visits LACC

The Academy Award winning actor, producer, and voice actor visited LACC on February 24 for a rededication ceremony of the Morgan Freeman Theater and a discussion with our students.

Morgan Freeman won an Academy Award in 2005 for Best Supporting Actor with Million Dollar Baby (2004) and has received four other Oscar nominations. He has also won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. He attended LACC in the 1960's while working as a transcript clerk for the college.
