Today we share a Student Spotlight on Juliya Zelenina, a current French 3 student!

Students choose to take French for many different reasons. It's a beautiful language, and France has magnificent culture and history. Being tied to such a beautiful place is both rewarding and exciting. Many students first fall in love with the language and it opens the doors to a beautiful world for them. Today, I'll share with you the voice of one of those students:

My name is Juliya Zelenina.

Juliya in front of fountainI have been studying French for 3 semesters now. I really enjoy studying overall and especially languages, I think  when you study a new language it kind of opens up a new world in front of you. I'm taking French because I think it’s a very beautiful language and it is spoken in many countries. I hope it will become useful to me sometime in the future. As I go I’m learning a new language and making new friends that want to learn it as well. I’m enjoying the studying and the classroom atmosphere every time.

I hope to become fluent in French and carry it on in my life!!

Thank you for sharing your story with us, Juliya! We hope you find French class both exciting, and rewarding!
